Communions of the New Covenant in Christ

How to read the Communions

These communions can be read or meditated upon by an individual or in a group setting. When a group wishes to perform the communion together, one person leads the recitation acting as the Priest or Priestess, and the others act as the Congregation. The paragraphs marked with ¶p are for the Priest or Priestess. The paragraphs marked with ¶c are for the Congregation. The paragraphs marked with ¶a are for all participants (both Priest or Priestess AND the Congregation together).

Preface to the Communions

¶a: I want to and will do my best to live like the Tree of Life, planted by the Masters of the Holy Order of the Gods, being one with my Heavenly Father, who planted the Eternal Garden of the Universe and gave me my spirit, with my Earthly Mother, who planted the Great Garden of the Earth and gave me my body, and with my fellow disciples who are working in the Garden of our Lord. 
I want to and will do my best to hold, every evening, my Communions with the Angels of the Heavenly Father and, every morning, with the Angels of the Earthly Mother, as established by the Masters of the Holy Order of the Gods. 
I want to and will do my best to follow the Path of Peace, that Peace which passes understanding, which is found in perfectness only by those who have received a fullness of Light. 
I want to and will do my best to perfect my body in its acts, in its feelings, and in its thoughts, according to the teachings of the Masters of the Holy Order of the Gods. 
I will always, and everywhere, obey with reverence my Master, who gives me the Light of the Masters who have gone before. 
I will submit to my Masters, and accept their decision on whatever differences or complaints I may have against any of my fellow disciples working in the Garden of the Holy Order, and I will never take any complaint against a fellow disciple to the outside world. 
I will strive to live together with my fellow disciples in Love, that we may be united in all things. 
I will always, and everywhere, keep secret all the mysteries of the Holy Order of the Gods, which my Masters will tell me, and I will never reveal to anyone these secrets without the permission of my Masters. 
I will never claim as my own the knowledge received from my Masters, and I will always give credit to them for all this knowledge. 
I will never use the knowledge and power I have gained, through the rites and ordinances of the gospel, for material or selfish purposes. 
I enter the Eternal and Infinite Garden, with reverence to the Heavenly Father, to the Earthly Mother, and to the Masters, with reverence for the holy, pure, and saving teachings of the gospel, and reverence to the Brotherhood of the Elect. 
¶p: When the Gods saw that their people would perish because they did not see the Light of Life, they chose the best of mankind so that they might make the Light of Life to shine before mortals, and those chosen were called Sons Ahman. 
They were chosen to teach the ignorant, heal the sick, and dispense Light to the seekers after Truth. 
And they gathered together often, filled with Light and Truth, to rejoice in the Lord. 
Earthly Mother, give us the Food of Life! 
¶c: We will eat the Food of Life! 
¶p: Angel of Sun, give us the Fire of Life! 
¶c: We will perpetuate the Fire of Life! 
¶p: Angel of Water, give us the Water of Life! 
¶c: We will bathe in the Water of Life! 
¶p: Angel of Air, give us the Breath of Life! 
¶c: We will breathe the Air of Life! 
¶p: Heavenly Father, give us your Power! 
¶c: We will build the Realm of the Gods with the Power of the Heavenly Father! 
¶p: Heavenly Father, give us your Love! 
¶c: We will fill our hearts with the Love of the Heavenly Father! 
¶p: Heavenly Father, give us your Wisdom! 
¶c: We will follow the Wisdom of the Heavenly Father! 
¶p: Heavenly Father, give us Eternal Life! 
¶c: We will live like the Tree of Eternal Life! 
¶p: Peace be with you! 
¶c: Peace be with you! 
¶p: To lift your eyes to heaven, when everyone's eyes are on the ground, is not easy. 
To worship at the feet of the Lord, when everyone worships only fame and riches, is not easy. 
But the most difficult of all is to think the thoughts of the sanctified, to speak the words of the sanctified, and to do as the sanctified do. 
¶c: Give us, O Heavenly Father, the key to sanctification in your holy image. 
¶p: The Heavenly Father says: “I am the Lord your God; you should therefore sanctify yourselves, and you should be holy as I am holy; you should not defile yourselves with downcast minds, false worship, or unclean thoughts." 
¶c: As a child inherits the land of his parents, so have we inherited a holy land from our Masters. 
This land is not a field to be plowed, but a place within us where we can build our holy temple. 
Even as a temple must be raised stone by stone, so will the Master give to us those stones for the building of the holy temple within us, even the stones of the hidden knowledge, which has been handed down from our Masters, since the beginning of time. 
¶a: Grant us, O Heavenly Father, the keys of knowledge, that we may build, within, the holy temple of your Presence, for the Highest dwells not in temples made with hands, but in his sanctified will his dwelling be. 
¶p: The holy temple can be built to perfection only with the ancient Communions, those which are spoken, those which are thought, and those which are lived. 
For if they are spoken only with the mouth, they are as a dead hive which the bees have forsaken, which gives no more honey. 
¶c: As the body without the spirit is dead, even so, faith without works is dead, being alone. 
¶a: The Communions are a bridge between mankind and the Gods and, like a bridge, can be built only with patience. 
Yes, even as the bridge over the river is fashioned stone by stone, as they are found by the water's edge, so is the bridge to the Gods fashioned step by step, as you learn and obey the mysteries of Godliness. 
¶p: Whoever accepts the Light, to him will more be given, and he will have in abundance, for it is given to such to know the mysteries of godliness, and they will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 
¶c: Give us, O Heavenly Father, the mysteries of godliness, so that we can utter the secret things in holy places, through your divine name. 
¶p: The Communions are fourteen in number, as the Angels of the Heavenly Father number seven, and the Angels of the Earthly Mother number seven. 
Just as the roots of the tree sink into the earth and are nourished, and the branches of the tree raise their arms to heaven, so is each person like the trunk of the tree, with his roots deep in the breast of his Earthly Mother, and his soul ascending to the bright stars of his Heavenly Father. 
The roots of the tree are the Angels of the Earthly Mother, and the branches of the tree are the Angels of the Heavenly Father. 
This is the sacred Tree of Life, which stands in the Sea of Eternity. 
¶c: All things were before created, but spiritually were they created and made, according to the word of the Gods, when the Heavenly Father planted the Tree of Life in the middle of the Eternal Sea, and ordered the universe, with all things therein. 
¶p: My children, do you not know that the earth, and all that dwell therein, is but a reflection of the realm of the Heavenly Father? As you are suckled and comforted by your mother when a child, but go to join your parents in the fields when you grow up, so do the angels of the Earthly Mother guide your steps toward him who is your Father, that you may know your true home, and become true children of the Gods. 
While we are children, we see the rays of the sun, but not the power which created it; while we are children, we hear the sounds of the flowing brook, but not the Love which created it; while we are children, we see the stars, but not the hand which scattered them through the sky as the farmer scatters his seed. 
Only through the Communions with the Angels of the Heavenly Father, and of the Earthly Mother, will we learn to see the unseen, to hear that which cannot be heard, and to speak the unspeakable word. 
¶a: Give us, O Heavenly Father, eyes to see your glory, ears to hear your word, and mouths to utter your divine Name. Amen.

First Communion

Communion With the Heavenly Father

¶p: The First Communion is with the Heavenly Father, who is, who was, and who ever will be. 
¶a: O Great Creator, you did create the Heavenly Angels, and you did reveal the heavenly laws. 
You are my Refuge and my Fortress. 
You are from everlasting. 
¶p: Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. 
¶a: Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are a God. 
¶c: Who has made the waters, and who makes the plants? Who to the wind has yoked the storm-clouds, that move swiftly through the heavens? Who, O Great Creator, is the fountain of Eternal Life within our souls? Who has made the Light and the Darkness? Who has made sleep and the zest of the waking hours? Who spread the noontide and the midnight? 
¶p: You, O Great Creator; you have made the earth by your Power; you have established the world by your Wisdom, and have stretched out the heavens by your Love. 
¶c: Reveal to me, O Heavenly Father, your nature, which is the power of the inhabitants of your holy realm. 
¶p: Immortality and the Holy Order have you given, O Great Creator, and the best of all things, your Holy Law. 
¶c: I will praise your works, with songs of thanksgiving, through all generations of time, and throughout all eternity. 
With the coming of day, I embrace my Mother; with the coming of night, I join my Father; with the outgoing of evening and morning, I will breathe their Law, and I will not interrupt these Communions until the end of time. 
¶p: In the Heavenly Realm there are strange and wondrous works, for by the word of Ahman all things exist. 
There remain hidden greater things than these which we see, for we have seen but a few of his works; the Heavenly Father has made all things. 
¶c: In the beauty of the heavens, the glorious stars give light to worlds unnumbered; sentinels of the Highest, they stand in their order, and never faint in their watches. 
¶p: Look upon the rainbow, and praise him that made it; very beautiful it is in the brightness thereof. 
It encompasses the heaven about with a glorious circle, and the hands of the Highest have bent it; he has set it as a perpetual token of his Covenant with the descendants of Noah. 
¶c: By his Law he makes the snow to fall on the earth, and sends swiftly the lightnings of his power. 
Through his will, the treasures of the earth are opened, and clouds fly above the earth as fowls. 
¶p: By his great power, he makes the clouds become rain, and the hailstones to fall on the earth. 
¶c: At his sight, the mountains are shaken, and at his will, the wind blows. 
¶p: The noise of the thunder makes the earth to tremble; so does the fierce storm, and the whirlwind. 
As birds flying, he scatters the snow, and the eye marvels at the beauty of the whiteness thereof; the heart is astonished at the falling of it. 
¶a: So do the heavens declare the glory of the Gods, and the night sky shows their handiwork. 
¶c: Who has made the waters, and who makes the plants? Who to the wind has yoked the storm-clouds, that move swiftly through the heavens? Who, O Heavenly Father, is the Creator of the Holy Law within our souls? Who has made the light and the darkness? Who has made sleep and the zest of the waking hours? Who gave the recurring sun and stars their undeviating way? Who established that whereby the moon waxes and wanes? 
¶p: Who, save you, O Heavenly Father, has done these glorious things? 
¶a: Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. 
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are the Law. 
Your name is Understanding, Wisdom, Most Gracious, Unconquerable, He Who Speaks Truth, the All-Seeing One, the Healing One, Creator, Preserver, the Discerner, and the Spirit. 
You are the Holy Law. 
¶p: These names were pronounced before the creation of the heavens and the earth, before the making of the waters and the plants, before the birth of our holy Master Enoch. 
¶c: Before the beginning of time, the Heavenly Father planted the holy Tree of Life, which stands forever in the middle of the Eternal Sea. 
¶p: High in its branches sings a bird, and only those who have journeyed there, and heard the mysterious song of the bird, will see the Heavenly Father. 
¶c: They will ask of him his name. 
¶p: And he will answer, "I am the Man of Holiness, even Ahman, the Eternal I AM." 
¶a: O Heavenly Father, how excellent is your name in all the earth; you have set your glory above the heavens. 
When we consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what are mortals that you are mindful of them? Yet, you have made a Covenant with the Children of Light, and they walk with your holy angels; you have crowned them with glory and honor; you made them to have dominion over the works of your hands, and gave to them the task of nourishing and protecting all that lives and grows on your green earth. 
O Heavenly Father, how excellent is your name in all the earth. 
¶p: Hear the voice of one who cries out to you, O Lord! Where can I go that your Spirit is not? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in darkness, even there you are with me;-if I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there will your hand lead me, and your right hand will hold me. 
If I say, "Surely the darkness will cover me," even the night will be light about me. 
Yes, the darkness hides not from you, but the night shines as the day. 
The darkness and the light are both alike to you, for your All-Seeing Eye beholds all things. 
¶a: As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God. 
My soul thirsts for the living Heavenly Father. 
Your Law is my Light and Salvation; whom should I fear? Your Law is the Rock and the Strength of my life; of whom should I be afraid? One thing have I desired of your Law; that I will seek after: That I may dwell in the House of the Law, all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Heavenly Father. 
¶p: Those who enter the secret place of the Highest, and dwell in the bosom of Eternity, will abide forever under the shadow of the Almighty. 
¶c: We will say of the Law, "You are our Refuge and our Fortress"; we will trust in the Holy Law. 
The Heavenly Father will cover us with his cloak, and under his wings will we trust; his Truth will be our shield and armor. 
We will not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day, nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. 
¶a: We will be strong and courageous, for by day we will walk with the Angels of the Earthly Mother; by night we will commune with the Angels of the Heavenly Father, and when the sun reaches its zenith at noontide, we will stand silent before the Lord our God, no evil will befall us. 
Neither will any plague overcome our dwelling, for he has given his Angels charge over us, to keep us in all his ways. 
The Heavenly Father is our Refuge and Strength; therefore will we not fear. 
Though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the middle of the sea, though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake in consternation, yet will we stand firm in the power of our Gods. 
There is a river which flows to the Eternal Sea. 
Beside the river stands the holy Tree of Life. 
There does my Father dwell, and my home is in him. 
The Heavenly Father and I are One, he in me, and I in him, through Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen.

Second Communion

Communion With the Earthly Mother

¶p: The Second Communion is with our Earthly Mother, she who sends forth her Angels to be the roots of mortals, guiding them deep into the blessed soil. 
¶a: We invoke the Earthly Mother, the holy Preserver of our lives and our health, if we obey her laws. 
¶p: It is she who will restore the world. 
¶c: The earth is hers, and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein. 
¶a: We revere the good, the strong, the gracious Earthly Mother, and honor her Angels, who are bounteous, valiant, and full of strength, gracious, kind, and health-giving. 
¶p: Through her nourishment, do the plants grow up from the earth, from the never-failing springs of her strength. 
¶c: Through her power, do the winds blow, driving the clouds, and bringing the rains upon the earth. 
¶a: The Earthly Mother and I are One. 
I have my roots in her, and she takes her delight in me, according to the Holy Law. 
¶p: Honor your Earthly Mother, that your days may be long in the land. 
Your Earthly Mother is in you, and you in her. 
She bore you; she gives you life. 
It was she who gave you your body, and to her will you one day give it back again. 
Happy are you when you come to know her and her realm. 
If you receive your Mother’s Angels, and if you live by her laws, you will be blessed with health in the navel and marrow in the bones. 
¶c: The power of our Mother is very great, for she has rule over the bodies of all humans and all living things. 
The blood which runs in us is born of the blood of our Earthly Mother. 
¶p: Her blood falls from the clouds, leaps up from the womb of the earth, babbles in the brooks of the mountains, flows wide in the rivers of the plains, sleeps in the lakes, rages mightily in the tempestuous seas. 
¶c: The air which we breathe is born of the breath of our Earthly Mother. 
¶p: Her breath is in the heights of the heavens, sighs in the tops of the mountains, whispers in the leaves of the forest, billows over the cornfields, slumbers in the deep valleys, burns hot in the desert. 
¶c: The hardness of our bones is born of the bones of our Earthly Mother, of the rocks and of the stones. 
¶p: They stand naked to the heavens on the tops of the mountains; they are as giants that lie sleeping on the sides of the mountains, as pillars set in the desert, and are hidden in the depths of the earth. 
¶c: The tenderness of our flesh is born of the flesh of our Earthly Mother, whose flesh grows yellow and red in the fruits of the trees, and nurtures us in the furrows of the fields. 
The light of our eyes, the hearing of our ears, both are born of the colors and sounds of our Earthly Mother, which enclose us about, as the waves of the sea a fish, and as the eddying air a bird. 
¶p: Mortals are the children of the Earthly Mother, and from her, did the Son of Man receive his body, even as the body of the newborn babe is born of the womb of his mother. 
You are one with the Earthly Mother; she is in you, and you in her. 
Of her were you born; in her do you live, and to her will you return again. 
Keep, therefore, her laws, for none can live long, neither be happy, but he who honors his Earthly Mother, and lives by her laws. 
Your breath is her breath, your blood her blood, your bone her bone, your flesh her flesh, your eyes and your ears are her eyes and her ears. 
¶a: Always are we embraced by our Earthly Mother; always are we surrounded by her beauty. 
Never can we part from her; never can we know her depths. 
Ever does she create new forms; that which now exists, never was before; that which did exist, returns not again. 
In her realm, all is ever new, and always old. 
In her do we live, yet we know her not. 
Continually does she speak to us, yet never does betray to us her secrets. 
Ever do we till her soil, and harvest her crops, yet we have no power over her. 
Ever does she build; ever does she destroy, and her workplace is hidden from mortal eyes.

Third Communion

Communion With the Angel of Eternal Life

¶p: The Third Communion is with the Angel of Eternal Life, who brings the message of eternity to mortals. 
¶c: He, who walks with the Angels, will learn to soar above the clouds, and his home will be in the Eternal Sea, where stands the sacred Tree of Life. 
¶p: Do not wait for death to reveal the great mystery; if you know not your Heavenly Father while your feet tread the dusty soil, there will be nothing but shadows for you, in the life that is to come. 
¶c: Here and now is the mystery revealed. 
Here and now is the curtain lifted. 
¶p: Be not afraid, O mortal: Take hold of the wings of the Angel of Eternal Life, and soar into the paths of the heavens; fly toward the Heavenly Sea and Eternal Life. 
Yes, the promise of Eternal Life rests with the City of Enoch, for Enoch walked with the Gods, and he disappeared from the physical realm, for the Gods received him into the inner vision. 
¶c: Upon the earth was no people greater than Enoch's, for they were lifted up from the earth. 
¶p: A true follower of the Law was Enoch; a great healer, filled with wisdom, happy, glorious, strong was he, who drove back sickness, and drove back death. 
¶c: He did obtain a source of remedies to withstand sickness and to withstand death, to withstand pain and to withstand fever, to withstand the evil and infection which ignorance of the Law had created against the bodies of mortals. 
¶a: We invoke the memory of Enoch, a Master of Life, a follower of the Holy Order of the Gods, a man of the Law, wise with an Eternal Wisdom, a king and a priest of the Most High Gods, one filled with the glory of the Gods, one who was glorified with the Heavenly Father, whose every thought was good, who spoke only that which is good, whose Priesthood abides forever, a tiller of the soil of the Earthly Mother, who knew and taught the word of the Gods, and obedience to the Holy Law. 
¶p: To all the children of Light he gave the good things of Life. 
¶c: He was a teacher of the Law. 
¶p: It is written in the words of Father Enoch: "We sacrifice to the Creator, the Heavenly Father; we honor the bright and glorious angels; we look to the shining heavens, and consider the glorious, peaceful wisdom of the Ancients." 
¶c: Grant to us, Heavenly Father, the desire and the knowledge of your paths, the Way which leads to the Heavenly Order of Life, the Life of the Sanctified. 
¶p: As health is excellent, how much greater is Eternal Life, both flowing from the Heavenly Order, which produces goodness of the mind, and actions of life performed in devotion to the Creator, the Source of Eternal Life. 
¶c: We look to the Law, and seek after the heavenly realm. 
¶p: We look to the Eternal Holy Law, for truthfulness in thought, word, and deed, will place the soul of a faithful person in the Endless Light of Eternal Life. 
¶a: The Heavenly Father possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before ever the earth was created. 
When there were no depths, I was brought forth, while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world. 
When he established the heavens, I was there; when he set a circle upon the face of the deep, when he made firm the skies above, when the fountain of the deep became strong, when he gave to the sea its bounds, that the waters should not transgress his Law, when he marked out the foundations of the earth, then I was by him, learning of his ways, and he was daily my delight, for I rejoiced always before him, rejoicing in his earth, which he had created, and my delight was with the children of the Gods. 
¶p: For eternity, the Heavenly Father reigns; he is clothed with majesty and strength. 
He is from everlasting. 
¶c: The floods have lifted up, O Lord; the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. 
¶p: The Heavenly Father on High is mightier than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty waves of the sea. 
¶c: His name will endure forever; his name will be continued as long as eternity, and all the Children of Light will be blessed in him, and ’everyone will call him blessed. 
¶a: Let the whole earth be filled with the glory of the Heavenly Father, the Earthly Mother, and all the Holy Angels. 
I have reached the inner vision and, through your Spirit in me, I have heard your wondrous secret. 
Through the mysteries of your House, you have caused a spring of knowledge to well up within me, a fountain of power, pouring forth living waters, a flood of Love and of all-embracing Wisdom, like the splendor of Eternal Light.

Fourth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Earth

¶p: The Fourth Communion is with the Angel of Earth, she who brings forth corn and grapes from the fullness of the earth, she who brings children from the loins of husband and wife. 
¶c: He who would till the earth with the left arm and the right, to him will she bring forth an abundance of fruit and grain, golden-hued plants growing up from the earth during the spring, as far as the earth extends, as far as the rivers stretch, as far as the sun rises, to impart their gifts of food to mankind. 
¶a: This wide earth do I praise, stretching from sea to sea, productive, full-bearing, Mother of mankind. 
¶p: Yes, I praise the lands where grow the plants, which serve as food for mankind, sweet-scented, swiftly spreading, the good growth of the Lord. 
¶c: He who sows corn, grass, and fruit, sows the Law. 
¶p: His harvest will be bountiful, and his crop will be ripe upon the hills. 
¶a: As a reward for the followers of the Law, the Lord sent the Angel of Earth, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, to make the plants to grow, and to make fertile the womb of woman, so that the earth will never be without the laughter of children. 
Let us worship the Lord, and rejoice in this gift. 
¶p: We invoke the abundant earth, source of health and happiness, our Mother Earth, which is more powerful than all her creatures. 
¶c: This wide earth do we praise, stretching from sea to sea, productive, full-bearing, Mother of mankind. 
¶p: We praise the lands where grow the plants, which serve as food for mankind, sweet scented, swiftly spreading, the good growth of the Earthly Mother. 
¶c: We praise the good, the strong, the gracious Angel of Earth, and rejoice in the dew of heaven, the fatness of the earth, and the abundant harvest of corn and grapes. 
¶p: We admire the high mountains, rich in pastures and in waters, upon which run the many streams and rivers. 
¶c: We desire the holy plants of the Angel of Earth, which grow up from the ground to nourish animals and humans, to nourish the Children of Light. 
¶p: The earth is the strong preserver, the maintainer. 
¶c: We praise the strength and vigor of the powerful preserver, the earth, created by the Heavenly Father. 
¶p: We honor the healers of the earth, they who know the secrets of the herbs and plants; to the healers has the Angel of Earth revealed her ancient knowledge. 
¶c: The Lord has created medicines out of the earth, and he that is wise will use them. 
¶p: Was not the water made sweet with wood through the knowledge of Elisha, so that its power could be demonstrated? 
¶c: And to certain of his saints the Lord has given skill, that the Law might be honored and fulfilled. 
¶p: Through sacred arts do they heal mortals, and take away their pains, and of their works there is no end; from them is peace to all who follow Truth. 
¶c: Then give place to the healers, and honor them, for the Heavenly Father has endowed them with knowledge and wisdom from on High; let them not leave you, for you have need of them. 
¶p: We honor the tillers of the soil, who work together in the Garden of the Lord, in the fields which the Lord has blessed. 
He who would till the earth with the left arm and with the right, to him will she bring forth plenty of fruit, and wholesome green plants, and golden grain; sweetness and fatness will flow out from that land which is blessed of the Lord, and from those fields which he has sanctified; from them will come health, and healing, with fullness, and increase, and plenty. 
¶c: He who sows corn, grass, and fruit, sows the Holy Law; he makes the Law of the Creator become a physical reality on the face of the earth. 
¶p: When all the earth becomes a garden, then will all the bodily world become free from old age and death, from corruption and rot, forever and forever, yes, even in the Day of the Lord. 
¶a: Mercy and Truth will be met together in that day. 
Righteousness and Peace will kiss each other; Truth will spring out of the earth, and glory will dwell in our land.

Fifth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Work

¶p: The Fifth Communion is with the Angel of Work, who sings in the humming of the bee, pausing not in its making of golden honey, in the flute of the shepherd, who sleeps not lest his flock go astray, in the song of the spinner, as she lays her hand to the spindle. 
¶c: If you think that these are not as fair in the eyes of the Lord as the loftiest of prayers, echoed from the highest mountain, then do you indeed err. 
¶a: The honest work of humble hands is a daily prayer of thanksgiving, and the music of the plow is a joyful song to the Lord. 
¶p: He who eats the bread of idleness must die of hunger, for a field of stones can yield only stones. 
For him is the day without meaning, and the night a bitter journey of evil dreams. 
¶c: The mind of the idle is full of the weeds of discontent, but he, who walks with the Angel of Work, has within him a field always fertile, where corn, and grapes, and all manner of sweet-scented herbs and flowers grow in abundance. 
¶p: As you sow, so shall you reap. 
¶a: The disciple of the Gods, who has found his task, will not ask any other blessing. 
¶p: Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with a span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 
¶a: The Lord, even Ahman, our Eloheim. 
¶c: The sun arises, and the saints gather together; they go forth to their work in the fields; with strong backs and cheerful hearts, they go forth to labor together in the Garden of the Lord. 
¶p: They are the Workers of Good, because they work the good work of the Heavenly Father. 
¶c: They are the body of those who teach the Law, and who struggle for the Law. 
¶p: With the right arm and the left, they till the soil, and the desert bursts forth in colors of green and gold. 
¶c: With the right arm and the left, they lay the stones, which will build on earth the heavenly realm. 
¶p: They are the messengers of the Angel of Work; in them is revealed the Holy Law. 
¶a: O Heavenly Father, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all. 
The earth is full of your riches. 
You send the springs into the valleys, running down from the everlasting hills. 
You give drink to every beast of the field, and cause the grass to grow for the cattle. 
You set the mighty tree in their places, that the birds of heaven may have their habitation and sing sweetly among the branches. 
¶p: You give herbs for the service of mortals, that they may bring forth food out of the earth. 
¶c: In the hands of the saints, all your gifts bear fruit, for they are building on earth the heavenly realm. 
¶p: You open your hand; your saints are blessed with good things. 
You send forth your Spirit, and they are created from the womb; together with your holy angels, they will renew the face of the earth. 
¶a: O Heavenly Father, you who are above all! Reveal, to the Children of Light, what is the foremost thing, in which the earth feels the greatest joy. 
¶p: The Heavenly Father, answering, says, "It is the place in which the saints, who follow the Holy Law, step forth with their good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. 
Their backs are strong in service, and their hands are not idle. 
They lift up their voices in full accord with the Law. 
That place is holy, in which the saints sow the corn, or grass, or fruit, where they water that ground which is dry, or drain the too wet soil. 
For the earth has been given into the keeping of the Children of Light, that they may treasure and care for it, bringing from its depths that which is for the nourishment of the body and the enlightenment of the mind." 
¶a: Blessed are the Children of Light, whose joy is in the work of the Law, who labor in the Garden of the Lord by day, and join the Angels of the Heavenly Father by night. 
From their lips is the story told, which serves as a teaching for mortals. 
¶c: "It is said that the trees went forth one time to anoint a ruler over them. 
They said to the olive tree, 'You reign over us.' But the olive tree said to them, 'Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honor Gods and mortals, and go to be promoted over the trees?' Then the trees said to the fig tree, 'You come and reign over us.' But the fig tree said to them, 'Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?’ Then said the trees to the vine, 'You come and reign over us.' And the vine said to them, 'Should I leave my wine, which cheers Gods and mortals, and go to be promoted over the trees?'" 
¶a: The disciple of the Law, who fulfills his tasks, does not need further blessings, neither does he seek dominion over his fellowman, but only to serve in the name of his Gods.

Sixth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Life

¶p: The Sixth Communion is with the Angel of Life, she who gives strength and vigor to mortals. 
¶c: Look, if the wax is not pure, how then can the candle give a steady flame? And if the body is not full of Life, how can the Light of the Creator shine through that one? 
¶p: Go, then, toward the high-growing trees, and before one of them which is beautiful, high-growing and mighty, consider these words: "Hail, O good, living tree, made by the Creator! ’Surely we are each filled with that Life which comes from above, which fills all things." Then will the River of Life flow between you and your sister the tree, and health of the body, swiftness of foot, quick hearing of the ears, strength of the arms, and the eyesight of the eagle can be yours. 
Such is the Communion with the Angel of Life, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother. 
¶a: Jesus says: "I have come that they might have Life, and that they might have it more abundantly." 
¶c: Show us, O Lord, the mysteries of the higher life in communion with you. 
¶p: Be not ungrateful to your Creator, for he has given you Life. 
Seek not the Law only in your scriptures, for the Law is Life, whereas, the scriptures are only words. 
I tell you truly, Moses received not the greater Law from the Gods in writing, but through the living word. 
¶a: The Law is living word, of living Gods, to living prophets, for living mortals. 
¶p: In everything that has life is the Law written. 
It is found in the grass, in the trees, in the rivers, in the mountains, in the birds of heaven, in the forest creatures, and in the fishes of the sea, but it is found chiefly in yourselves. 
¶c: All living things are nearer to the Gods than the scriptures, which are without Life. 
The Gods so made Life, and all living things, that they might, by the Ever-living word, teach the principles of the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother to mortals. 
¶p: The Gods confined not the words of the Law to the pages of books, but in your heart, and in your spirit, are they written. 
Search the Light within, for the Law is written in your breath, your blood, your bone, your flesh, your eyes, your ears, and in every part of your body. 
¶c: The words of the Law are present in the air, in the water, in the earth, in the plants, in the sunbeams, in the depths, and in the heights. 
¶p: All these speak to you of the Law, that you may understand the tongue, and the will, of the Living Gods. 
¶c: The scriptures are the works of mortals, showing forth the inspiration of the Almighty, but Life, and all its hosts, are the work of the Gods. 
¶p: First, O Great Creator, you did create the heavenly hosts, and you did reveal the heavenly laws. 
¶c: You gave us understanding from your own mind, and you made our bodies to live. 
¶a: We are grateful, Heavenly Father, for all your manifold gifts of life, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, for the precious things put forth by the moon, for the great things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the Everlasting hills, and for the precious things of the earth. 
We are grateful, Heavenly Father, for the vigor of health—health of the body, quickness of mind, with swiftness of foot, quick hearing of the ears, strength of the arms, and eyesight of the eagle. 
For all the manifold gifts of Life, we do glory in the Fire of Life, through the Father, the holy Light of Ahman, which reveals the Heavenly Order. 
We do worship in the Fire, the Light from above, that Fire which is in the House of the Lord, flowing thence to the Children of Light. 
¶p: Behold, now, the Child of Light, who communes with the Angel of Life; see how his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his chest. 
He moves his legs like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. 
His bones are as tubes of brass; his limbs are like bars of iron. 
¶c: He eats of the table of the Earthly Mother; the grass of the field, and the waters of the stream, do nourish him; surely the mountains bring him forth food. 
¶p: Blessed is his strength and beauty, for he does serve the Law. 
A sanctuary of the Holy Spirit is the body in which the Fire of Life burns with Eternal Light. 
¶a: We thank you, Heavenly Father, for you have put us at a source of running streams, at a living spring in a land of drought, watering an Eternal Garden of Wonders, in which grows the Tree of Life, mystery of mysteries, growing Everlasting branches for Eternal planting, to sink their roots into the stream of Life, which flows from an Eternal Source.

Seventh Communion

Communion With the Angel of Peace

¶p: The Seventh Communion is with the Angel of Peace, whose kiss bestows calm, and whose face is as the surface of untroubled waters, wherein the moon is reflected. 
¶c: I will invoke Peace, whose breath is friendly, whose hand smooths the troubled brow. 
In the reign of Peace, there is neither hunger nor thirst, neither cold wind nor hot wind, neither old age nor death. 
But to him that has not Peace in his soul, there is no place to build, within, the holy temple, for how can the carpenter build in the middle of a whirlwind? The seed of violence can reap only a harvest of desolation and from the parched clay can grow no living thing. 
Seek, then; the Angel of Peace, who is as the morning star in the middle of a cloud, as the moon at the full, as a fair olive tree budding forth fruit, and as the sun shining on the temple of the Highest. 
¶p: Peace dwells in the heart of silence. 
Be still, and know that we are the Gods. 
¶a: Glory to the Gods in the highest, and on earth Peace, Goodwill to mortals. 
¶p: For the earth will be filled with the Peace of the Heavenly Father, as the waters cover the sea. 
¶a: I will invoke the Angel of Peace, whose breath is friendly, whose hand is clothed in power. 
¶p: In the reign of Peace, there is neither hunger nor thirst, neither cold wind nor hot wind, neither old age nor death. 
¶c: In the reign of Peace, both animals and humans will be undying, waters and plants will be undrying, and the food of life will be never-failing. 
¶p: It is said that the mountains will bring Peace to the people, and the little hills, Righteousness. 
¶c: There will be Peace as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. 
¶p: Peace will come down like rain on mown grass, as showers that water the earth. 
¶a: In the reign of Peace, will the Law grow strong, and the Children of Light will have dominion from sea to sea, even to the ends of the earth. 
¶p: The reign of Peace has its source in the Heavenly Father; by his strength he sets fast the mountains; he makes the outgoings of morning and evening to rejoice in the Light; he brings to earth the river of the Law, to water and enrich it. 
¶c: He makes soft the earth with showers; they drop on the pastures of the wilderness, and the little hills rejoice on every side. 
¶p: The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys, also, are covered over with corn; they shout for joy; they also sing. 
¶a: O Heavenly Father, bring to your earth the reign of Peace. 
¶p: Then will we remember the words of him who taught of old the Children of Light, even the Ancient of Days: “I give the Peace of your Earthly Mother to your body, and the Peace of your Heavenly Father to your spirit." 
¶c: Let the Peace of both reign among mortals. 
¶p: Come to me, all you that are weary, and that suffer in strife and affliction, for my Peace will strengthen you and comfort you. 
My Peace is a fullness of Joy, in which is your Strength. 
Therefore have you been taught to greet one another with a Holy Kiss, saying, "Peace be with you." You are always to so greet one another that upon your bodies may descend the Peace of the Earthly Mother, and upon your spirits the Peace of the Heavenly Father. 
Then will you find Peace also among yourselves, for the Realm of the Law is within you. 
And to your fellowmen will you give Peace, also, by blessing them with the Joy which is within your power to give. 
Happy are they that strive to obtain Peace, and to share it with others, for they will find the Peace of the Heavenly Father. 
Therefore, share with everyone the Peace which is in you, even as I have shared my Peace with you. 
My Peace is of the Gods, even the Peace which passes understanding. 
Peace be with you. 
¶c: And with your spirit be peace. 
¶a: Amen.

Eighth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Joy

¶p: The Eighth Communion is with the Angel of Joy, she who descends to earth to give beauty to all mankind, for the Lord is not worshiped with sadness, nor with cries of despair. 
Leave off your moans and lamentations, and sing to the Lord a new song. 
¶a: Sing to the Lord, all the earth. 
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad. 
Let the field be joyful; let the floods clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the Lord, for you will go forth with joy, and be led forth with peace, in the service of your Gods. 
The mountains and the hills will break forth before you' into singing and rejoicing before the Lord. 
Angel of Joy, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my Gods while I have my being. 
¶p: The heavens smile; the earth celebrates; the morning stars sing together, and all the Children of Light shout for joy. 
¶a: Oh sing to the Heavenly Father a new song; sing to the Earthly Mother, all the earth. 
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and let mortals be glad in the blessings of the fullness of Eternal Life. 
¶p: Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein; then will all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Holy Law. 
¶c: Sing to the Heavenly Father, all you heavens of heavens, and you waters that are above the heavens, all mountains and all hills, stormy wind fulfilling his word, fruitful trees and all cedars, beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl, rulers of the earth and all people, governors and all judges of the earth, young men and maidens, old people and children, let them sing to the Heavenly Father with joy. 
¶p: Sing to the Lord with the harp and voice of a psalm. 
With trumpets and sound of pipes, make a joyful noise before the Angels. 
¶c: Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the Lord. 
¶p: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands. 
Serve the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother with gladness and joy; come before their presence with singing. 
¶a: The spirit of the Holy Law is upon me, because the Elders have anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek. 
They have sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, to comfort all that mourn, to send to them the holy Angel of Joy, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of Light for the spirit of heaviness, for weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. 
¶p: The people that walked in darkness will see a Great Light, and they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, on them will shine the Light of the Holy Law. 
¶c: Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down happiness. 
¶p: Let the people of sadness go out with joy, and be led forth with peace. 
¶a: Let the mountains and the hills break forth before them into singing, that they might partake of the holy celebration, and eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life, which stands in the; middle of the Eternal Sea. 
¶p: The sun will be no more their light by day, neither for brightness, will the moon give light to them, but the Law will be to them an Everlasting Light, and the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother will be their Eternal glory. 
¶c: Their sun will no more go down, neither will their moon withdraw itself, for the Law will be their Everlasting Light, and the days of their mourning will be ended. 
¶a: I will greatly rejoice in the holy Law. 
My soul will be joyful in the works of the Gods, for they have clothed me in garments of Light; they have covered me with robes of joy. 
¶p: As the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes its seeds to spring forth, so the Heavenly Father will cause the Holy Law to spring forth, with gladness and joy, before all the Children of Light. 
¶c: In the Garden of the Lord, all the earth shines with holiness and abundant joy, for there are the seeds of the Holy Law sown. 
¶p: The Law is the best of all good for the Children of Light. 
It gives to them brightness and glory, health and strength of the body, long life in communion with the Angels, and Eternal and Unending joy. 
¶a: We will sing to the Heavenly Father, and to the Earthly Mother, and to all the Angels, as long as we live in the Garden of the Lord; we will sing praise to the Holy Law forever and ever.

Ninth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Power

¶p: The Ninth Communion is with the Angel of Power, who fills the sun with heat, and guides the hands of mortals in all their works. 
¶c: Yours, O Heavenly Father, was the Power, when you ordered a Path for each of us, and all mankind to follow. 
¶a: Through your Power will my feet tread the Path of the Law; through your Power will my hands perform your works. 
May the golden river of Power always flow from you to me, and may my body always turn to you, as the flower turns to the sun. 
¶c: There is no Power except that which flows from the Heavenly Father, even the Light of Ahman. 
All else is but a dream of dust, a cloud passing over the face of the sun. 
¶p: No mortal has power over the Spirit; neither has he power, in the day of death, to retain life to himself. 
¶c: Only that Power, which comes from the Gods, can carry us out from the City of Death in the holy resurrection. 
¶a: Guide our words and deeds, O Angel of Power, holy messenger of the Heavenly Father, that we may use that Power, which is generated in his Priesthood, only in the cause of good, and the blessing of mankind. 
¶p: Blessing, and Glory, and Wisdom, and Thanksgiving, and Honor, and Power, and Might, belong to the Heavenly Father forever and ever. 
¶a: Yours, O Heavenly Father, was the Power, when you ordered a Path for each of us, and all mankind to follow. 
¶p: What is the deed well done? 
¶c: It is that done by the Children of Light, who regard the Law as before all other things. 
¶a: The best of all gifts, therefore, do I beseech of you, O Best of Beings, our Heavenly Father, Lord of Spirits, that the Holy Law will rule within us, through the Angel of your Power. 
I approach you, with my invocations that your great gifts of Power will protect your Holy Order, that we will be free to live after the heavenly pattern, and that the mind of the Anointed, the Light of Ahman, will rule within each one of us forever. 
We extol you, Heavenly Father, Blessed Redeemer, Almighty King, and we will bless your Power forever and ever. 
So long as we are able, and have the Power, so long will we teach the people concerning the deeds which are to be done by them, according to the Holy Law, with love toward the Heavenly Father, the Earthly Mother, the Holy Angels, and all the Children of Light, who till the soil of the Garden of the Lord. 
Even so do we desire the coming of the Heavenly Order in perfection, that our spirits and our bodies may be purified, even as you are pure. 
¶p: Yours, O Heavenly Father, is the Power, yes, yours, O Creator of Love, for Love is the source of all Power in the Eternal Priesthood. 
Through Love, we gain understanding and the inflowing of the Holy Spirit, through which comes all Power. 
Yes, even knowledge is Power. 
¶c: Through your Power will we go to the people and teach them, saying: 
“Trust in the Law, and walk in the ways of the Holy Angels; so will you dwell in the Land of the -Lord your God, and, truly, you will be fed from the feast table of' the Earthly Mother. 
¶p: "Delight yourself, also, in the Power of the Heavenly Father, and he will give you the desires of your heart in righteousness. 
¶c: "Let neither pride nor arrogance come out of your mouth, for the Heavenly Father rules by the Holy Law, and by him actions are weighed. 
¶p: "He brings us down to the grave, and lifts us back up. 
¶c: "The Power of the Law makes us poor and makes us rich; his Power brings us low and lifts us up. 
¶p: "He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, enabling him to inherit the throne of glory through his gifts. 
¶c: "Out of heaven will he thunder on the children of darkness; the Lord will judge, with Power, the ends of the earth." 
¶p: Hear the voices of the disciples who cry out in the wilderness and the barren desert: 
"Prepare the Way of the Law; make straight the Paths of the Heavenly Father, and the Earthly Mother, and all the Holy Angels of the day and of the night. 
¶c: "Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be brought low; the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth, and all flesh will see the Power of the Law." 
¶a: We extol you, Heavenly Father, for you have lifted us up. 
O Lord, our Almighty, Powerful Father, we cried to you, and you have healed us. 
From the grave, you have brought up the souls of your people; you have kept them alive, that they should not be thrust into darkness. 
Through the power of your atonement, and the guidance of Light, you have saved us from the evil ones. 
O Heavenly Father, you are the Law; early and late will we seek your Presence. 
Our souls thirst for the Law; our flesh longs for the Law. 
¶p: A river of holy Power is the Law, in a dry and thirsty land where no water is. 
¶c: Our lips will praise your Power while we live, O Ahman; we will lift up our hands in your name. 
¶a: We will preserve, we will nurture, your Holy Order, through the fulfillment of your instructions. 
We will invoke and praise, by day and by night, your holy Power, and that Power will come to help us; it will be as if there were a thousand angels watching over one person. 
To you, Heavenly Father, belong all Power, and all Mercy, for the Holy Law renders to everyone according to his work.

Tenth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Sun

¶p: The Tenth Communion is with the Angel of Sun, she who comes each morning, as a bride from her chamber, to shed her golden light on the world. 
¶c: O Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Angel of Sun, there is no warmth without you, no fire without you, no life without you. 
The green leaves of the trees do honor you, and through you does the tiny wheat kernel become a river of golden grass, moving with the wind. 
¶a: Through you is opened the flower in the center of my body; therefore will I never hide myself from you. 
Angel of Sun, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, enter the holy temple within me, and give me the Fire of Life. 
¶p: Come, rise up and roll along, you Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Angel of Sun. 
Rise above the mountains and produce light for the world of mankind. 
¶c: Angel of Sun, you are the fountain of light; you drive away the darkness so that mortals can live. 
¶p: Open the gate of the horizon so that Light can flow to us from the Father and Mother of Lights. 
¶c: The Angel of Sun dwells far above the earth, yet her rays fill our days with life and warmth. 
¶p: The chariot of the morning brings the light of the rising sun, and makes glad the hearts of mankind. 
¶c: The Angel of Sun illumines our path with rays of splendor. 
¶a: Angel of Sun, dart forth your rays upon me. 
Let them touch me; let them penetrate me. 
I give myself to you and your embrace, that I may be blessed with the Fire of Life. 
A molten flood of holy joy flows toward me from you. 
Truly you are a fountain of life, O Angel of Sun. 
¶p: As no mortal can look at the sun with naked eyes, so no mortal can see the Gods face to face, lest he be consumed by the flames which emanate from their presence. 
Our Gods are a consuming Fire, even the Source of all Life. 
Study, then, the Holy Law, for the face of the Sun, and the face of the Gods, can be seen only by the one who has within him the revelation of the Law. 
Do you think that death is an end? If so, your thoughts are foolish, as those of a child who sees dark sky and falling rain, and cries that there is no sun. 
Would you grow strong in the Law? Be, then, as the sun at noonday, which shines with light and warmth on everyone, and gives freely and abundantly of her golden glory. 
Then will the fountain of Light flow back to you, as the sun is never without light, for it flows freely, without restraint. 
¶c: And when the Sun rises, then the Earth, made by the Creator, becomes clean. 
The running waters become pure; the waters of the wells become pure; the waters of the sea become pure; the standing waters become pure; all the holy creatures become pure. 
¶p: It is through brightness and glory that a person is born again, who listens well to the holy words of the Law. 
That is the person whom Wisdom holds dear. 
¶c: In brightness and glory does the Sun go his way; in brightness and glory does the Moon go her way; in brightness and glory do the Stars go their way. 
¶p: To the Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Sun, let there be dedication, with sacrifice and prayer to them who created her. 
¶c: When the light of the Sun grows brighter, when the brightness of the Sun grows warmer, then do the heavenly forces arise. 
They pour their glory on the Earth, made by the Heavenly Father, for the increase of the Children of Light, for the increase of the Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Sun. 
¶p: He who is devoted to the Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Sun, will withstand the darkness, will withstand death, when it creeps in unseen. 
He it is who worships the Heavenly Father, who honors the holy Angels, who offers up his own soul to the Lord, to him will these blessings come. 
¶c: He rejoices all the heavenly and earthly forces, who is devoted to the Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Sun. 
The best of all friendships, is that friendship which flows between the Angel of Sun and the children of the Earthly Mother. 
¶a: I extol the glorious light, the strength and the vigor, of the Immortal, Shining, Life-giving Angel of Sun.

Eleventh Communion

Communion With the Angel of Love

¶p: The Eleventh Communion is with the Angel of Love, whose healing waters flow in a never-ending stream from the Sea of Eternity. 
Beloved, let us love one another, for Love is of the Heavenly Father, and every one who loves in Truth, is born into the Heavenly Order and will know the Angels. 
¶c: Without Love, a person's heart is parched and cracked, as the bottom of a dry well, and his words are empty, as a hollow gourd. 
But loving words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul; loving words in a person's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of Love as a flowing brook. 
¶p: Yes, it was said by the Ancients of Days: “You must love your Heavenly Father with all your heart, and with all your mind, and with all your deeds, and you must love your fellow disciples as yourself.” 
¶c: The Heavenly Father is Love, and he that dwells in Love, dwells in the Heavenly Father, and the Heavenly Father in him. 
¶p: He that loves not is as a wandering bird cast out of the nest; for him the grass fails and the stream has a bitter taste. 
¶c: If a person says, "I love the Heavenly Father but hate my fellow disciple," he is a liar, for he that loves not his fellow disciple, whom he has seen, how can he love the Heavenly Father, whom he has not seen? 
¶p: By this we know the Children of Light: Those who walk with the Angel of Love are the Children of Light, for they love the Heavenly Father; they love their fellow disciples, and they keep the Holy Law. 
¶c: Love is stronger than the currents of deep waters; Love is stronger than death. 
¶a: Thus have the Gods instructed from the beginning, that we should love one another. 
¶p: Love one another, for Love is stronger than the currents of deep waters; Love is stronger than death. 
¶a: Beloved, let us love one another, for Love is of the Heavenly Father, and everyone who loves, is born of the Heavenly Father, and of the Earthly Mother, and knows the Angels. 
¶p: You must love one another as the Heavenly Father has loved you, for the Heavenly Father is Love, and he that dwells in Love dwells in the Heavenly Father, and the Heavenly Father in him. 
¶c: Let them that love him be as the sun when he goes forth in his might, full of Light and Warmth. 
¶p: Beloved, you must all be of one mind, having endless Love and Compassion one for another. 
You must not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you must love your neighbor as yourself.

¶p: You must also love strangers, for you were- strangers in the Land of Egypt. 
¶c: It is said by the people, "Better a dinner of herbs where Love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. 
Loving words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones. 
The loving words of a person's mouth are as deep waters, even the waters of baptism, and the wellspring of Love as a flowing brook. 
¶p: What does the Law require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with the Angels? 
¶a: By this do we know that the Angel of Love does dwell in us, when we love the Heavenly Father and keep his Law. 
O Gracious Love, O Creator of Love, reveal the best words through your Divine Mind living within us, even the Light of Ahman, the Eternal Sea. 
Say to the Children of Light, who till the soil in the Garden of the Lord: "Honor everyone. 
Love the saints. 
Obey the Law."

Communion With the Angel of Water

¶p: The Twelfth Communion is with the Angel of Water, she who makes the rain to fall on the arid plain, who fills the dry well to overflowing. 
¶c: Yes, we do honor you, Water of Life. 
¶p: From the heavens, the waters distill onto the earth, forming the never-failing springs. 
¶a: In my blood, flow a thousand pure springs and vapors and clouds and seas, yes, all the waters that spread over the face of the earth. 
¶p: All the waters the Creator has made are holy, if mortals do not defile them. 
¶c: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the Gods of Glory thunder; the Lord is upon many waters. 
¶a: Angel of Water, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, enter the blood that flows through me; wash my body in the rain that falls from heaven, and give me the Water of Life. 
¶p: From the heavens, the waters distill onto the earth, forming the never-failing springs. 
¶c: To the dry and barren desert have the saints brought the Angel of Water, that she might bring forth a garden and a green place, tree-filled and fragrant with flowers. 
¶p: Cast yourself into the enfolding arms of the Angel of Water, for she will cast out from you all that is unclean and evil. 
¶a: Let my love flow toward you, Heavenly Father, as the river flows to the sea. 
And let your Love flow to me, Heavenly Father, as the gentle rain does kiss the earth. 
And let our love flow among us, that we may be one, that we may be your people, and you our God. 
¶p: As a river through the forest is the holy Law. 
¶c: All creatures depend on it, and it denies nothing to any being who will obey it. 
¶p: The Law is to the world of mankind what a great river is to streams and brooks. 
¶c: As rivers of water in a dry place are the saints, who bring the Holy Law to the world of mankind. 
¶p: In water you can drown, and in water you can quench your thirst. 
Thus is the Holy Law a two-edged sword; by the Law you can destroy yourself, and by the Law you can see the Gods. 
¶c: Heavenly Father, from the heavens flow all the waters that spread over the face of the earth. 
So also does your bounty go on sending waters of Life, both physical and spiritual, in summer and winter, and in all seasons. 
¶p: The water which you give, and the Light which flows from you, purifies the seed in males, the womb in females, the milk in females' breasts. 
¶c: The water which you send, flows down, unrestrained, to the big-seeded grain fields, to the small-seeded pastures, yes, upon the whole earth. 
A thousand pure springs run toward the pastures that give food to the Children of Light. 
¶p: If any one will sacrifice to you, O Lord, to him you will send the Angel of Water! 
¶c: To that one you will give both splendor and glory, with health and vigor of the body. 
To him you will give a long enduring life, and a place with you thereafter. 
¶a: We honor all the holy waters, which do quench the thirst of the earth, all the holy waters that the Creator has made, and all the plants which the Creator has made, all of which are holy. 
We do honor the Water of Life, the Eternal Sea, the Light which flows from the Gods, and all waters upon the earth, whether standing, or running, or waters of the well, or spring waters which perennially flow, or the blessed drippings of the rains. 
We do pray for the good and holy waters which the Law has created. 
¶p: Let the sea roar and all the waters, the world and they that dwell therein. 
¶c: Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together. 
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the Gods of Glory thunder. 
¶a: Heavenly Father, for your Angel of Water we are thankful, and we bless your name. 
A flood of love wells up from the hidden places beneath the earth. 
The saints are blessed forever in the holy Water of Life.

Thirteenth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Wisdom

¶p: The Thirteenth Communion is with the Angel of Wisdom, who makes mortals free from fear, of a believing and loving heart, and free conscience. 
¶c: Holy Wisdom, you give us the understanding that unfolds continuously, as a holy scroll, yet does not come through the learning of mankind. 
¶p: All wisdom comes from the Heavenly Father, and is with him forever. 
¶c: Who can number the sands of the sea, and the drops of rain, and the days of eternity? Who can find out the height of heaven, and the breadth of the earth? Who can tell the beginning of wisdom? 
¶p: Wisdom was before all things, for she dwells in the Gods. 
¶c: He who is without wisdom is like one who says to the wood, "Awake," and to the dumb stone, "Arise and teach." So are his words empty, and his deeds harmful, as a child who brandishes an adult's sword, knowing not its cutting edge. 
¶p: But the Crown of Wisdom makes peace and perfect health to flourish, both of which are the gifts of the Gods. 
¶a: I will cling to the Heavenly Order, so that I can receive the Angel of Wisdom. 
I will worship the Heavenly Father, and honor the Light within me, so that I can put on the mind of the Anointed, and be one with my Lord. 
¶p: To follow the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and learning the ways of the Holy Ones brings understanding. 
Through observing the Law of the Highest, will your days be multiplied, and the years of your life will be increased through receiving his ordinances. 
All wisdom comes from the Heavenly Father, and is with him forever. 
Through the Holy Law, does the Angel of Wisdom guide the Children of Light. 
¶c: Who can number the sands of the sea, and the drops of rain, and the days of eternity? Who can find out the height of heaven, and the breadth of the earth, and the deep, and wisdom? 
¶p: Wisdom was before all things, for she dwells in the Gods. 
One can heal with goodness; one can heal with justice; one can heal with herbs; one can heal with the Words of Power through the Gift of Wisdom. 
Among all the remedies, the application of wisdom, as it dwells in the Light, is that which heals best. 
The application of Divine Wisdom, as it is revealed by the Light, is that which will best drive away sickness from the bodies of the faithful, for wisdom is the best healing of all remedies. 
To follow the Holy Law; is the Crown of Wisdom, making peace and perfect health to flourish, for these are the gifts of the Angels. 
¶a: We would draw near to you, O Heavenly Father, with the help of your Angel of Wisdom, who guides us in the Heavenly Order, where we learn to act and to speak according to wisdom, that our whole lives may be a testimony of your Truth. 
Come to us, Heavenly Father; let us receive your mind into ourselves. 
As you are the Giver of every good and perfect gift, through your Heavenly Order, bestow on us the long-lasting Gift of Wisdom, that we may be the Children of Light, and spend our lives in your holy service, dwelling in the Garden of the Lord. 
Yes, even your mind is Light, and when the Light is kindled in us, we have the mind of the Anointed. 
Then does Wisdom flow, from the Heavenly Order, to the Children of Light, so that we become heirs to the sacred Tree of Life. 
¶c: How is your Law manifested in our lives, O Heavenly Father? 
¶p: This is what the Heavenly Father says: "The Law is manifested in good thoughts, which produce deeds of righteousness. 
The wisdom of the Child of Light is manifested in his deeds." 
¶c: What is the word well spoken? 
¶p: It is the word, spoken in wisdom, which blesses another. 
¶c: What is the thought well thought? 
¶p: It is that which the Child of Light thinks, for he thinks by the Light, and holds those thoughts, which come of the Light, to be of greater value than all other things. 
So will the Child of Light grow, through meditation and communion with the Light within, that he may develop wisdom, and thus will he continue, until all the mysteries of Godliness, which lead even to the Tree of Life, will be revealed to him. 
¶a: Then will he say these victorious words: "0 Heavenly Father, give me my task for the building of your divine realm on earth, through good thoughts, good"words, good deeds, which will be, to the Child of Light, his most precious gift. 
O Holy Father, let me dwell in the Heavenly Order forever. 
Let me put on the mind of the Anointed. 
I will worship the Light, through the Heavenly Father, forever, for the Light is of the Father, by whose power, the divine realm will roll forth, and the Holy Order ascend up on High forever and ever. 
¶p: Wisdom makes a person free from fear, of a believing and loving heart, and free of conscience. 
Holy Wisdom, you give us the understanding that unfolds forever, continually, without end, and is not acquired through the study of the scriptures, but through the study of the Light. 
¶c: It is ignorance that ruins most people, both among those who have died, and those who will die. 
¶p: When ignorance is replaced by Holy Wisdom, then does sweetness and fatness come to our land and to our fields, with health and healing, with fullness, and increase, and growth, and abundance of corn and of grass, and rivers of Peace flow through the desert, where dwell the Children of Light. 
¶a: Lift us up, O Gods, to behold the wisdom of the heavenly hosts, so that we can dwell forever in the Eternal Garden of the Lord.

Fourteenth Communion

Communion With the Angel of Air

¶p: The Fourteenth Communion is with the Angel of Air, who carries the perfume of sweet-smelling fields, of spring grass after rain, of the opening buds of the Rose of Sharon. 
¶c: We honor the holy breath of the Creator, which is given to mortals, for look, the space around us is filled by the air we breathe in, and the air we breathe out, and in the moment between the breathing in and the breathing out, is hidden all the mysteries of the Infinite Garden. 
¶a: Angel of Air, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, enter deep within me, to fill me with Life, for with you I receive an infusion of Light, to the sanctification of my flesh, that I may learn the secrets of the Ancients, and the music of the Eternal worlds. 
¶p: Let us praise our Maker while we have breath. 
¶c: We will honor the holy breath of the Creator, which is given to mortals, for, look, the space around us is filled with his Light, that we may imbibe his Wisdom. 
¶p: In the middle of the fresh air of the forest and fields, there will you find the Angel of Air. 
Patiently, she waits for you to quit the dank and crowded holes of the cities of mankind. 
Seek her, then, and breathe deeply of the healing power which she offers you. 
Breathe long and deeply, that the Angel of Air may be brought within you, for the rhythm of your breath is the key of knowledge, which reveals the Holy Law. 
¶c: The Angel of Air soars on invisible wings, yet you must walk her unseen path, if you would see the face of the Gods. 
¶p: Sweeter than the finest nectar of honeyed pomegranate, is the fragrance of the wind in the grove of cypress. 
¶c: Sweeter still, the scent of the godly, who do revere and teach the Holy Law. 
¶p: Holy is the Angel of Air, who cleanses all that is unclean, and gives to all evil-smelling things a sweet odor. 
¶c: Even as the holy Angel of Air purifies without, so does the breath of the Heavenly Father purify within, to the sanctification of our souls. 
¶p: Prayers rise up from the valleys of the mountains, carried by the wind along the Trail of the Law, increasing the realm of Light. 
¶c: The Heavenly Father has made the earth by his power; he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by his will. 
¶p: At the sound of his voice, the waters in the heavens respond, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning, with rain, and brings forth the wind, his holy breath. 
¶c: As the sea is the gathering place of the waters, rising up and going down, up the aerial way, and down onto the earth, and up again the aerial way, thus you must rise up and roll along! You, for whose rising and growing, the Heavenly Father has made the Eternal and Sovereign luminous space. 
¶a: No one can come before the face of the Gods, whom the Angel of Air does not let pass. 
Your body must breathe the air of the Earthly Mother, as your spirit must breathe the Holy Law of the Heavenly Father, so that you will be full of Light, joining the holy ones in Eternal praise.
