See that no one leads you astray from this path of teaching, for apart from God they do not teach according to truth. If you are able to bear the entire burden of the Lord, you will be perfect; but if you cannot, do what you can.
As for food, eat whatever you can bear, but abstain from the meat sacrificed to idols, for eating such is a way of worshiping the gods of death.
