The Founding: The land was established when Szvemaz converted the people of Nyōrd to the ways of Aiylōhyme through faith and miracles, eventually calling the place Germania (Emalo Six:14).
The Great Wall: In the north of the land lies a massive temple complex known as the Great Wall. It is an outdoor sanctuary featuring seven Holy of Holies, fire pits for Sydeir, and large Seer Stones (1st Vovfen 1:1).
The Purification: The land eventually saw a return to peace after many years of famine. This restoration was marked by flames that came upon the lands, purifying Germania and bringing back the history of the forefathers (1st Vovfen 1:20, Emalo Six:18).
Observations and Speculations
The Fragility of Refuge: Germania represents a "second attempt" at a holy land after the flight from Harethal. Its failure suggests that simply moving to a new place isn't enough if the internal corruption (the seed of Lōk) is still carried in the heart.
A Land of Extremes: Germania seems to be a place where everything is "loud." When the people are righteous, they build massive temples like the Great Wall; when they are wicked, they become the most ferocious warriors on earth. It is a land that doesn't do anything halfway.
The Modern Mystery: While we know this land as Germania, modern explorers have found the ruins of the Great Wall at the bottom of the Baltic Sea and called it the "Blinker Wall." They claim it was used by hunter-gatherers for reindeer, but the records tell us the truth: it was a place of fire, spirit, and Seer Stones.
The Loss of the Name: We wonder if the shift from *Yeruamaniyah* (the Foundation of Gods) to the name *Germania* happened as the people lost their faith. Perhaps as they forgot the "Foundation," they also forgot the name that reminded them of it.
